You’d better hide some for yourself before they’re all gone…
One of the things my grandma always had in her freezer was bags of frozen cookies. No, they weren’t store-bought, she made them herself. Baking was just part of grandma’s life.
When she would make cookies she would often bake up a bunch at one time and freeze them so that she always had a treat for a company or for us kids when we came to visit. I wouldn’t even thaw the cookies out. They tasted great straight from the freezer.
Grandma always had chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies on hand. Her peanut butter cookies were to die for. Whenever she’d bake them they’d come out so soft and fresh from the oven that your mouth would water like a faucet!
Peanut butter cookies have always been a weakness of mine. any diet I have ever been on has failed due to these delicious cookies. Soft, warm, peanut butter cookies fresh out of the oven have got to be one of God’s greatest creations. I can’t get over how delicious these yummy little things are! A trick my kids taught me is to freeze the cookies for a cool treat on a hot day. I didn’t think it would be good but wow, yummy!
The following recipe is quite simple and produces some of the best peanut butter cookies I’ve ever had the joy of baking…and eating.
