When my sister was little, she absolutely loved the cartoon Strawberry Shortcake. She had every little doll and every movie and adored all of her things. During that time, she found out that Strawberry Shortcake was actually a dessert. So, naturally, she wanted it. And once she tried it, she wanted it every day.

This strawberry shortcake is the perfect match for kids who love it and want it all the time. It’s no bake which makes it easy and simple and it is extra tasty and pretty fun to eat. Kids love the colors in it and it’s still so fun because it’s almost like a pie. Definitely a refresher for this hot summer!

Our friend Dorothy over at Crazy for Crust has to say this about the deliciousness at hand:

“Another way these desserts really are like lush? You can’t stop at just one piece. Literally. They go down easy and don’t take up too much room so you have and other slice. Then another. And another until you’re dumping the pan out in the garbage just so you won’t eat the whole thing.

*cough* That may or may not have actually happened.

This version of no-bake dessert is one of my favorites yet. Vanilla pudding, whipped topping, Golden Oreos, and strawberries. Lots and lots of fresh berries!”

Ingredients
1 box (3.4 oz) Jell-O vanilla instant pudding
1 1/2 cups McArthur nonfat milk
1 teaspoon McCormick vanilla extract
25 Golden Oreos (or another vanilla flavored cookie/graham cracker)
