This is a great recipe and a variation on one i used from primary school! But having moved overseas i needed to refresh myself of ingrediants. My little addition is to add about a teaspoon of cinnamon when mixing, they are seriously yum, possible even good for C’mas time

Fantastic and so easy! It helps to keep a bowl of water on hand – wet hands makes rolling the balls much easier. A fun activity to do with the kids!

Great recipe. I needed to make a gluten free version…so I used 2 packets of 200gm Rice biscuits (Arnott brand) to 1 tin of condensed milk – which still was still moist enough, only used 1/4 cup of cocoa (which made it very dark…I suggest halving that in my future batches), then an extra 1/2 – 3/4 cup of coconut to roll the balls in. **Handy hint so don’t get a build up of mixture on your hands have a small bowl of water near by and keep fingers and palms a little moist…which made cleaning my hands MUCH more easier and cleaner once done!! Oh…and this makes about 60 balls…if they are to the amount to 1 1/2 Tbsp about!! They can be kept for about a week refrigerated!!

Great recipe I was looking for this as I make a slightly modified version. Basically you add one piece of caramelo chocolate into the centre of about a tablespoon of dough and form a ball around it. Great surprise treat! It made 26 balls this way.

It is a fun recipe to do with family but it could have said how many it made so you could know if you needed to double the recipe and a great tip i use is to wet your hands so you can work better with the chocolate balls and not so much sticks to your hands.

Ingredients:

1 3/4 cups unsweetened shredded coconut
3 tsp coconut oil
