Dear readers, this is a recipe for a pineapple sheet cake. Sounds simple, doesn’t it? Well, it certainly is a no-fuss, no-hassle cake to make but the best part is – it doesn’t taste like it is! This cake looks and tastes like it took you all day to put it together. It is moist and yummy, and I like to refer to it as a fiesta in your mouth!
Now, this does make a whole lotta cake so feel free to halve the ingredients if you are making it for a simple dessert with dinner. But let’s be honest here; who would want to make just half a batch? I am most definitely going for the whole deal whenever I make this!
This would also make a great potluck dish. It’s not difficult to make, at all, and I guarantee people are going to line up and beg for the recipe! I found it over at Spicy Southern Kitchen, and I’m so happy I happened to stumble upon this recipe. You will be, too, once you’ve tried it!
In my opinion, the frosting is the best part of this cake and I would have no problem at all, eating it alone with a spoon.
However, the cake itself is very delicious, so if you’re in a hurry you could definitely make and serve this without the frosting. This recipe makes 20 servings (or maybe closer to 10, if you love it as much as I do!) You will most likely have all the ingredients at hand since there is no fancy stuff here – even though the flavor is stupendous and completely out of this world!
