Hot dogs and baked beans go together like peas and carrots in this casserole.
But don’t worry, there aren’t any silly peas and carrots in this casserole LOL! Those are the words of my 11-year-old. I’m always telling him he needs to learn to enjoy eating vegetables instead of being so picky or else he won’t grow. I did, however, serve this casserole with a side salad and he ate that. It was smothered in Ranch dressing but at least he ate it, right? Anyway, if you’re looking for an easy weeknight meal this is the ticket. It’s simple to make and tastes uh-mazing.
I want to give a shout out to Facebook for this delicious recipe. I am so thankful for their well-written and thoughtful dinner ideas. I don’t know where I’d be without the internet, sometimes.
Even though this casserole is perfect for feeding hungry kids adults love it, too. I mean, I’m one of them so I would know haha! My husband thought this casserole was excellent as well. he saved some to take to work with him for lunch the next day. When he got home he said all the guys were wondering what he was eating because it smelled so good! I guess I’ll be making this casserole again real soon.
